Explore the process, from your first step to a real connection
Matchora is a guided process, not a guessing game. Here's exactly what happens, in order, from creating your account to deciding — together — what comes next.
The Matchora journey
Create your account
Sign up with your email and set up the basics in a few minutes.
Complete your profile
Share your background, preferences, deal-breakers, and answers to guided compatibility questions.
Verify your identity
Complete university and identity verification so every member on Matchora is who they say they are.
Staff reviews your profile
A real person reviews your profile before it becomes visible to any match.
Compatibility is evaluated
Matchora weighs your deal-breakers, preferences, and compatibility answers against the community.
Receive one introduction
You're introduced to your single strongest compatible match — not a list, not a feed.
Send or accept the connection
Either of you can start the connection. It only moves forward if you both agree.
Talk, privately
Get to know each other in a focused conversation. Your name and photos stay protected.
Reveal identities, together
When you're both ready, mutually reveal your names and approved photos. Never unilateral.
Involve your families
When it feels right to both of you, bring your families into the conversation.
Move forward, or step away
Continue toward marriage together, or end the connection respectfully — at any point, either person can choose to stop.
One active connection at a time
While you're connected with someone, Matchora won't introduce you to anyone else. That space is what lets you actually get to know one person — not manage several conversations at once. When a connection ends, you're free for another introduction whenever you're ready.
Every step exists for a reason
Verification builds trust. Staff review protects the community. Mutual consent protects you. Nothing here is arbitrary — each step is designed to make the eventual connection stronger.
Privacy and consent are part of every step
Your identity stays protected through verification, review, and your private conversation. Reveal and family involvement happen only when you both agree — never before.
Frequently asked questions
Will I see a list of profiles to browse?
No. Matchora doesn't work like a catalogue or a swipe feed. Once your profile is reviewed, you're introduced to one strongest compatible match at a time, based on your deal-breakers, preferences, and compatibility answers.
What happens while I have an active connection?
You focus on that one connection. You won't be introduced to anyone else while it's active, so there's no juggling multiple conversations at once.
Can I end a connection if it isn't right?
Yes, at any time, and for any reason. Either person can end the connection respectfully. Once it ends, you become eligible for another compatible introduction.
When do we find out each other's names and see photos?
Only when you both agree. Identity reveal is a mutual step — neither person can share the other's name or protected photos unilaterally.
When are families involved?
Whenever the two of you decide together. Matchora never contacts or involves a family without both people agreeing first.
Is my profile visible to everyone?
No. Profiles are staff-reviewed before they're eligible for introductions, and your identity stays protected until you choose to reveal it.
Does Matchora guarantee a match or a marriage?
No platform can guarantee that, and we won't claim otherwise. What Matchora offers is a thoughtful, focused process: one meaningful introduction at a time, with privacy and mutual consent built in at every step.
